There is a certain charm, a comfort even, to the sound of an old printing press going about its business.
I came across this beautiful little homage to bookmaking, and just had to share it with you.
In a very short span it covers everything from layout with rubyliths, burning and developing the plate, mounting it on the machine, printing, collating, stitching, glueing and covering the book.
And in case you were wondering (you were, right?); yes, I ran a similar machine back in the day.
